Terms of Service
Last updated: September 2, 2026
These Terms govern your use of thewebsuite.co and the design, development, and related services provided by TheWebSuite (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using the site or hiring us, you agree to these Terms.
Our services
We provide website design and development, and related support and maintenance. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and price for any project are set out in the proposal or agreement we send you, which forms part of these Terms.
Template & digital product purchases
- Templates are digital products delivered electronically (source code plus setup instructions). Hosting, a domain, deployment, custom development, and ongoing maintenance are not included unless purchased separately.
- License. When you buy a template, you may use it for one business or client project you own, customize it, and deploy it to your own domain. You may not resell or redistribute the template or its source code, publish it as your own template, or claim the original design as your own.
- Optional installation, branding & customization, hosting, and Care plans are separate services with their own scope and pricing.
Payments & deposits
- Project work typically begins after a non-refundable deposit is received. The remaining balance is due as described in your proposal, usually before final files are handed over.
- Payments are processed securely through our payment processor. Prices are in U.S. dollars unless stated otherwise.
Subscriptions, renewals & cancellation
- Some plans (such as ongoing support or hosting) renew automatically. Before you start, we’ll clearly tell you the price, the billing interval, and that it auto-renews.
- We’ll send you a reminder before each renewal so a charge never comes as a surprise.
- Cancelling is as easy as signing up. You can cancel anytime by emailing us or from your client portal, no phone calls, no hoops. Cancellation stops future renewals; already-completed billing periods aren’t refunded unless required by law.
Refunds
Because templates and other digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned, sales of digital products are final once the files or access have been delivered, except where a refund is required by law or where a product is defective and we are unable to fix it. If something is wrong with your purchase, email us and we will make it right.
EEA & UK consumers. For digital content delivered immediately, you ask for and agree to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the download or access begins. This does not affect your legal rights if the digital content is faulty.
Your responsibilities
- Provide the content, access, and feedback we need to do the work, in a timely way.
- Make sure you have the rights to any materials (text, images, logos) you give us.
- Use our services and any delivered site lawfully.
Ownership & intellectual property
Once a project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables for your site. We may keep copies of the work and display it in our portfolio and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to. Any third-party tools, fonts, or libraries remain under their own licenses.
Reviews & testimonials
Any testimonials or reviews shown on our site are genuine and come from real clients. We do not publish fake or incentivized-for-a-specific-rating reviews.
Revisions & acceptance
The number of revisions included is stated in your package or proposal. Additional work beyond the agreed scope is quoted separately.
Warranties & disclaimers
We put real care into our work, but our services and this site are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don’t guarantee specific business results (such as traffic or sales).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the project giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Termination
Either party may end a project in writing. You’ll pay for all work completed up to that point; deposits are non-refundable.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which TheWebSuite operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We’ll change the “last updated” date above; continued use after changes means you accept them.
