Cookie Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies TheWebSuite (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses on thewebsuite.co, why we use them, how long they last, and how you can change your choice. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
Open cookie settings to review or change your choice at any time.
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Local storage and session storage are similar: they let a website keep small pieces of information in your browser between pages or visits. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of these. Some are set by us (first party). Others are set by another company whose service we use (third party).
2. The Categories We Use
We group everything into four categories. Only Necessary is on by default. The others stay off until you turn them on.
Necessary (always on)
These keep the site working and secure, so they cannot be turned off. They are all set by us and stay in your browser; we do not use them to track you across other websites.
- Your cookie choice (
ws_cookie_prefs, local storage): remembers what you chose in cookie settings. Kept until you change it or clear your browser data. - Sign in (
ws_sb_session, local storage): keeps you signed in to your client portal or the Studio. Removed when you sign out. - Display preferences (for example
ws_site_theme, local storage): remembers settings such as light or dark mode. - Saved page data (local and session storage): keeps copies of page content and template details so pages load quickly and the back button returns you to the right place.
- Payments: when you pay by card you are taken to a checkout page run by Stripe. Stripe may set its own cookies on that page to process the payment and prevent fraud, under Stripe’s privacy policy.
Analytics (off until you turn it on)
With your permission we use Google Analytics 4 to see which pages are used and where visitors get stuck. We look at totals, not individual profiles, and we ask Google to shorten IP addresses. Google Analytics does not load at all unless you turn this category on.
_ga(Google, cookie): tells visits apart. Lasts up to 2 years._ga_CK1ETDCVX1(Google, cookie): keeps the current visit together. Lasts up to 2 years.
If you turn Analytics off after turning it on, we remove these cookies from your browser and stop loading Google Analytics. Google’s use of this information is described in Google’s privacy policy.
Functional (off until you turn it on)
Optional conveniences from other companies, such as an embedded video player. Nothing on thewebsuite.co uses this category today. It is listed so your choice still applies if we add one, and we will update this policy before we do.
Marketing (off until you turn it on)
Technologies that measure whether one of our adverts brought you to the site, which work across other websites by design. We use them only while we advertise, and only if you turn Marketing on. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser keeps them off.
- Google Ads tag (cookies such as
_gcl_au, about 90 days): records that you arrived from one of our Google ads and whether you then sent a request, booked a call or bought. Google’s privacy policy. - Meta Pixel (cookies
_fbpand_fbc, about 90 days): the same for our Facebook and Instagram ads. Meta’s privacy policy.
If you turn Marketing off after turning it on, we remove these cookies from your browser and stop loading the tags. We do not sell personal information. We will update this policy before we add any other advertising technology.
3. Other Technologies
Where your visit came from (ws_attr, session storage): when you arrive through a link with campaign tags, such as one of our ads or posts, we keep those tags, the page you landed on and the site that sent you for that visit only, and send them with any form you submit, so we know which ad or post led to a request. It is deleted when you close the tab and is never sent to advertisers.
Some fonts on this site load from Google Fonts. Google’s servers receive your IP address and basic browser details when they send the font files. Google Fonts does not set cookies.
4. How to Change Your Choice
The first time you visit, we ask whether you accept all optional cookies, reject them, or want to choose by category. You can change your answer at any time from the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking Necessary cookies may stop parts of the site from working, such as signing in. Where applicable law recognizes browser privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control, we honor them as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. Websites We Build for Clients
This policy covers thewebsuite.co. Websites, portals and systems we build or run for clients may use different technologies, and each client is responsible for the cookie notice on its own site.
6. Changes to This Policy
We will update this policy when the technologies we use change, and update the date at the top. If we add a new optional technology, it stays off for you until you turn it on.
