The room
We opened The Vestry in a former chapel hall, kept the old plaster and the good acoustics, and put the stage in the middle so no one sits far away. Order a short plate and a proper cocktail, then let the set carry the night.
On the wall
A few of the names from recent seasons. Some come back every year. Some passed through once and left the room ringing.
Doors at 7pm, first set at 8, second set around 9:30. Come early for a table near the stage.
Late sessions on Sundays run to midnight.
Small plates and a short cocktail list from 6:30 to 10:30. Cash and card both fine.
The Vestry Old Fashioned is the one people order twice.
14 Chapel Row, on the corner of Vine Street. Two minutes from the Market Street tram stop.
Street parking after 6pm, or the Vine Street lot around the back.
