The Wellspring Foundation · Clean water, close to home
We drill, repair, and hand over community water points across the Rift Valley — then train local mechanics so they keep flowing long after we leave. No trucks of bottled water. Wells that last.
Since 2008, here is exactly what your giving has built.
We survey the water table, drill to a lasting depth, cap the well with a hand pump the village chose, and hand it to a water committee they elected.
Half the wells in the region were built by others and abandoned. We find the broken ones, fix them, and fold them into our monitoring network.
We train and equip a paid mechanic in every district, so a fault is fixed in days by a neighbour — not in months by a foreign charity.
“The children used to miss school walking for water. Now the water waits for them.”

Every dollar is tracked to a GPS-tagged well you can look up by name. We publish the full accounts each year, down to the last bag of cement.
