Do I need a licence or insurance?

In the UK and most of Europe, no. Kestrel One is a pedal assist bike capped at 25 km/h, so it counts as a bicycle. You ride it, park it and lock it like any other bike.

How long does the battery last?

Up to 90 km on a charge, less if you climb a lot or run full assist the whole way. The pack holds most of its capacity past 800 full charges, which is several years of daily riding.

What happens if something breaks?

Frame and battery carry a two year warranty. For anything else we send a mechanic to you in most cities, or ship the part with a guide if you would rather fit it yourself.
